DocuVantage's Contract With Florida Statewide IT Renewed

Tampa, Fla. (September 25, 2009) Document Advantage Corporation, (DocuVantage), a provider of online document, business process automation and records management solutions, announced today that its purchasing contract with the State of Florida was renewed. As part of this agreement DocuVantage's enterprise document and content management services may be purchased through the State of Florida's online exchange for buyers and vendors, MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP). This contract with the Florida Division of State Purchasing, listed under Information Technology Consulting Services, recognizes DocuVantage as an approved vendor within MFMP.

DocuVantage is also an approved vendor of the General Services Administration (GSA). Through the GSA, DocuVantage offers the online document management platform, DocuVantage OnDemand®, and implementation services to government agencies at a discounted price. The addition of these Federal and State contracts to their existing local contracts, positions DocuVantage as a leading provider of software-as-a-service business productivity and efficiency solutions to government agencies.

MyFloridaMarketPlaceMFMP enables buyers a one-stop shop for purchasing products and services through a central government database, allowing for quicker inquiry response, a reduction in paperwork, faster processing time and lower processing costs. The MFMP offers its purchasing services to all Executive Branch agencies, as well as local governments,
universities, colleges and public schools.

"Government agencies are in a state of continual budget and staff reductions and organizational restructuring. But the need to provide better services to their citizens only increases. Having these contracts in place gives them access to an online, subscription-based solution that can be up and running in hours, instead of months, and provides immediate return on investment without any capital expenditure," said Jana Wiggins, president of DocuVantage.

With this contract, DocuVantage helps government entities improve the way they manage and process information by offering efficiency and productivity services that will help develop a more environmentally-friendly office, while enhancing the speed and accuracy in which they serve their communities. Because the DocuVantage management team has been assisting businesses with their document management for over 20 years, they have the experience needed to help government agencies outline a strategic process automation plan that will be effective, long lasting and help in reducing the cost of doing business.

DocuVantage also offers a subscription-based enterprise document and content management platform, DocuVantage OnDemand®, which enables these agencies to inexpensively capture, convert, distribute, store and manage their documents and data online with complete operational efficiency and security. The application stores all documents electronically, with easy archiving and searching, streamlines business workflows and promotes a paperless office. Government agencies can eliminate paper processing, file-cabinet storage and expensive printing. DocuVantage OnDemand® can be purchased through the GSA, or the Hillsborough County Blanket Purchasing contract which is also open to all Florida agencies.
